Howlite is a white stone with veins of black or dark grey running throughout its polished surface. This stone is valued for its Marble feel and ability to take dye. First found in Canada, Howlite is now mined in the USA, Brazil and South Africa. It is often made into decorative objects and dyed blue, it resembles Turquoise.
